Live without love but not water!

Good Day readers! 😄A common problem that many household customers face is corrosion with their water heaters. 😖 Not a problem for our Smartplumber Joey. After draining the waterlines and isolating the connector valves, Joey went straight to work.  As seen in the before photo the 3/4" galvanized nipple piping had visible signs of rust where calcium and oxidation had accumulated over a few years. Joey replaced the nipple piping with a Heat Trap nipple. The purpose of the Heat Trap is to prevent humidity and heat from rising out of the water heater by convection.  😉  Tip: (Not needed on this job as an internal gasket was used.) Teflon tape is often overlooked by many DIY home users but when used helps free threads from debris, aids in lubrication, and prevents pipes from sticking if needed to be replaced several years later. Here at Smartplumbers, we're here for you 24 hours a day 24/7. 365 days a year. Call 408-247-2400.

Please do take a seat!

Here at Smartplumbers, we tackle all jobs great and small. Recently, our Smartplumber Joey was called to do a relatively routine toilet repair which was leaking at the floor base.  Joey quickly got to the task in hand and saw that the reason for the leak was that the flange was damaged.  It was old and cracked and whoever did the work prior did not remove the damaged flange.  Instead, a new flange was placed on top of the old one.  This type of shoddy work created an uneven surface for the toilet which was raised a little too high off the floor allowing leaks, mold growth, and unpleasant odor to manifest. In short, our Smartplumber completed the task with a durable carbonized iron flange and threw in a free wax seal..nice one Joey! Our customer was very pleased with Joey's professional work. We are Diamond Certified for  good reason. We pride ourselves on the expert work that we do. Please check out our reviews!   Please call 408-247-2400 24/7days a week for all your plumbing needs

Shower faucet installation? We got it covered.

Here we have our senior plumber Joel installing a new shower/tub faucet for a customer. In general, a shower faucet is more complicated a job than simply putting in a new kitchen or bathroom faucet since getting access to the interior of the wall is necessary. By calling a licensed and bonded plumber, you'll ensure the job is done by professional standards with a warranty. Our company is always reachable at (408) 247-2400 to take care of your plumbing needs.
